Last updated: March 21, 2006

Step 1: Download prerequisites

GTK for windows. Here is the link. You're looking for the "GTK+ 2 Runtime Environment".

Python for windows. Here is the link. You're looking for the "Python 2.4.2 Windows Installer".

PyGtk for windows. Here is the link. You're looking for the two downloads under "Python 2.4 (with pycairo support)", "pygtk-2.8.4-1.win32-py2.4.exe", and "pycairo-1.0.2-1.win32-py2.4.exe". This site uses frames in such a way that the exact page cannot be linked to, look under "menu -> pygtk on win32".

GtkMM for windows. Here is the link. Your're looking for the file "gtkmm-runtime-2.8.3-2.exe". This site uses frames in such a way that the exact page cannot be linked to, look under "menu -> gtkmm on win32".

Step 2: Install prerequisites

Install all of the above in the order listed for download above. When installing GTK for windows, be sure to check the option "Register environment variables" on the "Components" page (this should be the default). Other than that, pretty much go for the defaults.

Step 3: Now install the Doorway Client
